Multiple class actions against troubled sandalwood oil producer Quintis will soon compete to stay alive after a court heard Tuesday the company would bring an application to stay or consolidate the cases.

Ernst & Young named as defendant in third Quintis class action

Troubled sandalwood oil producer Quintis has been hit with a third class action over the company’s lost contract with Nestle unit Galderma, and this time its auditor, Ernst & Young, has been named as a co-defendant.

Judge cuts Squire Patton Boggs, Piper Alderman fees in $19M Arasor deal

A judge has signed off on a $19.25 million settlement in a shareholder class action brought against directors of defunct laser technology company Arasor International Ltd and partners in auditing firm Grant Thornton South Australia, but cut the legal fees of Squire Patton Boggs and Piper Alderman by $250,000.
